Designed around your independence
Designed with people who are blind in mind, and also for older adults and people new to Android who want a more direct path through voice.
Someone you trust can help with setup if you choose. How you use the app and whether to proceed with an action remain your decisions.
Optional spoken button guidance will offer help within Voicision. The app does not replace TalkBack or Android accessibility.
What comes next
The first release will focus on contacts, spoken phone numbers, confirmed calling, battery level and the current time.
Next, we plan to add voice commands to add a contact, remove a contact and set a timer in the Clock app. These will take priority before expanding to other commands, including more complex tasks with WhatsApp. These are planned additions, not first-release features.
We plan to offer an optional subscription to unlock additional features. Pricing, included features and availability will be announced before launch.
Questions & answers
Where Voicision fits, and what to expect.
No. The main interaction is to press the activation key, speak a command and hear the response. You do not need to read or type in a chat. You can review the history of requests and responses to understand what went wrong.
No. Voicision focuses on specific tasks within its own app. It does not replace TalkBack or navigation throughout other apps. Spoken button guidance within Voicision is optional.
The AI interprets supported commands on your phone without sending them to a cloud model. Speech recognition and spoken replies also run on the device, using compatible on-device speech services and installed offline voices.
Internet may be needed to download voice resources or update the app. Firebase diagnostics uses a connection separately, and planned subscription verification would also use one. Calls still need your phone service. See our privacy policy for the details.
We are designing Voicision with entry-level Android phones in mind. Current builds require Android 12 or newer, compatible on-device speech services and the permissions needed for each feature. There is no iPhone version.
Performance and voice availability vary by device. Supported devices and final requirements will be confirmed before the public release.
